About the role
You will turn finished designs into fast, accessible, hand-written front-end code, and own the quality of what reaches a browser. The studio ships static sites and small applications; you will be the person who decides how they are built.
What you will do
- Build responsive interfaces in semantic HTML and modern CSS.
- Write vanilla JavaScript for interaction, without a framework unless one earns its place.
- Hold every build to an agreed performance budget.
- Test with a keyboard and a screen reader, not only a mouse.
- Hand over code another developer can pick up unaided.
What we are looking for
- One to three years building production front-ends.
- Fluency in CSS layout — grid, flexbox, container queries.
- A habit of reading specifications rather than guessing.
- Examples of work you can point at and explain.
