Web Designer

About the role

You will design marketing sites and campaign pages that have a number attached to them, and work alongside the developers who build them — close enough that what you design is what ships.

What you will do

• Design responsive sites at four widths, from wireframe to build.
• Work to a performance budget rather than against one.
• Write or edit section copy so it fits the layout.
• Hand over annotated designs and stay involved through build.
• Review the built site on real devices before it goes live.

What we are looking for

• One to three years designing sites that had to convert.
• A working understanding of HTML and CSS — enough to know what you are asking for.
• Strong typographic judgement.
• A portfolio with at least one project you can talk numbers about.

How we work

Remote-first, contract or permanent, with project teams of three or four and no timesheets.
